This seminar is designed to help you understand the concepts of SQL script writing, as well as methods and techniques on how to create and use tables, views, stored procedures, and SQL jobs. Topics include:
- Using Select, From, and Where commands
- Getting familiar with Nextgen database tables, field names, and aliases
- Using proper syntax to understand the differences between viewing and using data
- The importance of using operators to restrict data on more than one field
- Using Select statements to find records from one table versus multiple tables
- How to link tables by using inner and outer join
- The value of saving and recycling SQL scripts to make your work easier
- The role of aliases when dealing with encrypted tables
