This session is designed to show you the proper setup and procedures to manage contracts in The La Crosse System.

  • Learn how to configure global files to set defaults for contract management, such as rental, maintenance, and lease item types, and contract invoice printing options
  • Set options for increasing contract rates and calculating contract freight
  • Set defaults for number of days for service meters and number of months for meter estimating Key files for contract management
  • Learn about service plans, product classes, and branches as they relate to contracts
  • Learn how to set up customers, items, item warehouses, model association, and serial numbers for contracts
  • How contracts relate to service calls, contract history, sales history, and labor history Key components for working in contracts and making corrections
  • Learn about contract cancellation and contract reactivation
  • Know the importance of contract billing methods, contract rate increases and decreases, batch billing, group billing, and cost per copy calculations Key procedures and reports
