Program Description
This program can be found on the Service Custom menu (SD-5). AMV stands for Average Monthly Volume. The Incorrect Meter Reading Report automatically prints whenever the AMV(Average Monthly Volume) Exception Report or the AMV Exception Batch Report are run. It searches all service calls in a specific time period and corrects the Prior Meter Reading and Date of Last Call fields. When service tickets are entered out of order, these two fields will be incorrect. It also prints any service call with a meter reading less than the prior meter reading. This report provides all necessary information to correct meter readings in Completed Call File Maintenance.
Rev 13 Changes
An option was added to be able to sort by Branch/Item/Serial number instead of Item/Serial number. A range for beginning and ending branch number was also added. The branch number from the Serial (SERIALD) data file will be used. Branch number cannot be greater than 255. On the Incorrect Meter Reading report that prints prior to the AMV Exception report, the branch number will print on the report if the operator sorts by branch number. On the AMV Exception report, branch number and product class will also print.
A change was also made so that it will not print machines that have Metered Y/N in Item (ITEM) data file not equal to Y. It also will not print machines with AMV equal to 0. It will now only print machines with a negative AMV, or an AMV greater than the AMV Limit.
Program changes were made to correct a minor Y2K problem with the calculation of number of months when the report is run.
