Accessing Programs

One of the most commonly used programs in The La Crosse System is Service Call Entry (SD-1-1), which is the first program in Service Data Entry (SD-1). The basic idea of this program is to search the customer data base and enter service call information for that customer, so that a technician can work on a particular or item. The call is left open in Technician Dispatching (SD-1-2) until the work is completed and the technician completes the call. Several fields within this program are automatically filled in or default to either Y for yes or N for no. Review the appropriate documentation to find out more about the operation of this program and several other programs in The La Crosse System. See the example below for a brief look. If you are using the webhelp system, right click on the thumbnail and select "Save target as..." to download the screen cam video. If you are using the online help system installed from the CD, you can single click on the button to download the screen cam video. You must have a valid internet connection to download files, since they reside on the LMS web server.
