Accessory Inventory with Price Report (INRP218)

Program Description

This program can be found on the Inventory Reports Stocking and Analysis Reports menu (INV-4-2-18). This report prints all machine item numbers that are in stock with all accessories linked to them. An item is considered a machine item number if the Accessory Y/N field in the Item (ITEM) File is set to N and the Spare Part field in the Item file is set to N. The report asks for ranges of Host Item Numbers (or machine item numbers), Host Serial Numbers, Accessory Item Numbers, Accessory Serial Numbers, Custody Sales Rep/Customer Number, Product Class, Warehouse, and Sales Rep. The Report can be sorted by Custody Sales Rep/Customer Number, Sales Rep or Host Item/Host Serial Number. There is the option to use the Accessory File (SERACC.DT) to determine accessories or using the Serial file (SERIALD) to determine accessories. Also, users are given the option to print Item Messages associated with the Host Item/Host Serial Number. All machines that are within ranges specified will print as long as the warehouse field is not equal to 0. If it is 0, that means that it was placed and it will not print on the report. A machine will print even if it does not have any accessories attached to it, unless a range of accessory item and accessory serial numbers are entered and the machine does not have an accessory within those ranges. All input criteria except the accessory item and serial number range is related to the host machine and not the accessory. The Serial file is searched for all the input criteria except the product class range. The program searches the Item file to determine the product class.

This report will total the Selling Price and Clearance Price for every machine and print the total. If the report is sorted by C'ustody Sales Rep/Customer Number, there will be a Custody Sales Rep/Customer Number total. If the report is sorted by Sales Rep, there will be a Sales Rep total. There is also a report total. If the Accessory file is used to determine accessories, and the accessory item and serial number do not exist in the Serial file, the warehouse, custody sales rep/customer number, sales rep, selling price and clearance price will all be blank and the message NOT FOUND IN SERIAL FILE will display next to the accessory.
