Program Description
Accessory Report by Host Item # can be found on the Service Reports Machine Reports menu (SD-4-2-9). It allows the user to determine if accessories are associated with a particular item. Results are sorted and printed by host item numbers and host serial numbers.
Rev 13 Changes
This program has been completely redesigned since Revision 12.
The screen has been updated to show lowercase letters rather than uppercase.
The user also has the ability to return to a previous field by typing Shift-6 (^).
There is also the ability to cancel exit the program by typing a forward slash (/).
There is also the option to press the ESC key to interrupt the program.
The new fields are described below:
Use A’ccessory File Or S’erial File To Determine Accessories
If A is entered, the program will run by using the Serial Accessory data file (SERACC.DT). If S is entered, the Serial data file (SERIALD) will be used to determine accessories. The program will also use the HOSTSERX index file, which contains Host Item numbers and Host Serial numbers. If the Host Item number equals the Item number and the Host Serial number equals the Serial number, the machine will be skipped because it is a host machine and not an accessory. When the Serial file is used, the Accessory Description that prints is the Machine Description from the Serial file.
Install Date
This is the date that the machine was installed and placed on site. This is taken from the Serial data file (SERIALD). The report is the same as in Revision 12 with the exception of the heading. The input options have been added to the top of the report, so that users can see how the report was run.
Initial Meter
This is the initial meter reading from the Serial file (SERIALD). This report is also the same as in Revision 12 with the exception of the heading. As stated in the Install Date field, the input options have been added to the top of the report, so that users can see how the report was run.
Press ESC To Interrupt And Return To Menu
Notes: ^ = Go Back 1 Space / = Cancel
Users now have the ability to interrupt the program by pressing the ESC key. There is also the option to enter Shift-6 (^) to return to a previous field and using the forward slash key (/) to cancel out of the program and return to the previous menu.
Internal program changes were made to correct the situation in which the pages did not form feed correctly.
