Accrual Changes is found on the Contract Data Entry menu, 1-4. Internal changes were made to incorporate the record length changes of the Item and Serial Files. Also added was Contract header lockout. This prevents someone from accessing the same contract while accessing the contract in Accrual Changes. When a contract is being accessed in programs that update the contract, such as Contract Cancellation or Contract Changes, and an attempt is made to access the machine in Accrual Changes, the prompt Contract In Use On Another Task - Enter ‘Cr’ To Continue appears. A carriage return returns the cursor to the Enter Contract Number prompt. The contract is not accessed until the other program is exited.
