Program Description
This program can be found on the System Manager Contract File Menu (LMSY-1-2-23). This program can be used to change the Contract Type of a contract from one to another. The Contract Types are Maintenance, Rental and Lease. The program will convert the call type in the Contract Header File (CNHDR.DT), Contract Line Item File (CNLI.DT) and Serial File (SERIALD) for every machine on the contract. The operator will be asked to enter a valid contract number. The contract number and current Contract Type will display on the screen. The operator will then be asked to enter in the new Contract Type. This would be M for Maintenance, R for Rental or L for Lease. If the operator tries to convert the Contract Type to the current Contract Type, a message stating “Contract Is Already That Call Type” will display and the operator will be asked to enter a new Contract Type. Once the files have been converted, the program will display a message stating “Contract Type Has Been Changed” on the screen and the program will ask for the next Contract Number.
