Program Description
This program can be found on the System Manager Miscellaneous menu (LMSY-1-7-23). This is a new program that allows you to change the start date and / or expiration date in the Contract (Special) Pricing file (CONTPD) based on a range of customer numbers or buying groups. If the operator chooses to change only the start date, the program will perform a check to make sure that the new start date is before the old expiration date. If the new start date is after the old expiration date, the record is printed on an exception report and the date in the record is not changed. The same is true if the operator chooses to change only the expiration date. If the old start date is greater than the new expiration date in a record, the information is printed on an exception report and the date in the record is not updated. At the date prompts, if the operator does not want to change the date, a return should be entered to signify that the date should not be changed. The operator needs to enter a date at at least one of the date prompts.
