Program Description
This new program can be found on the Inventory Reports File Maintenance Listings menu (INV-4-1-12). If two item numbers are entered, the report will print all duplicate serial numbers for the two machines entered. It is useful to run this report prior to running an Item Merge on the two items. The Item Merge will not let two items merge together if they have a duplicate serial number. With this report, the machines can be investigated and one of the machines can be deleted if necessary. At the item number prompts, there is an alpha item search, item description search and item association search available. The report will print the warehouse number, customer number and contract number of the duplicate serial numbers.
