Convert Sales Rep/Tech Old to New allows you to convert the Sales Rep or Technician Number field from an Old Number to a New Number in several files in the system. The files are listed below in the screen sample. The operator will be asked to enter the old Sales Rep Number and the new Sales Rep Number. Both Sales Rep Numbers will need to exist in the Sales Rep File. The operator is given an option to convert only the Service History and Technician Labor records instead of all of the files. This option can be run any time during the month but should be done when no one is in the Service Module. If the operator chooses to do all files and not just Service History and Technician Labor files, the program MUST only be run after End Of Month Processing before the new month has been started. There are some files and indices that are initialized during End Of Month that are not converted by this program. No one should be on the system when this program is run for all files.
