Enter Service Copies is found on the Contract Data Entry menu, 1-10 and the Service Data Entry menu, 1-9. Service Copies can also be added during the input of a service ticket. Service copies are the number of copies made by a technician at a customer site while servicing the copier. Entering service copies writes back to the Contract Line Item File. They are added into the meter readings that are billed through Contract Billing.
File locking has been added to the program. When an item and serial number is input in Enter Service Copies and the machine is being accessed in Meter File Maintenance or Contract Changes, the message Contract Line Item In Use On Another Task! appears. The machine is not accessed.
