Program Description
This program can be found on the Fixed Assets Custom menu (FA-3). It will be used by LMS support technicians as needed. It changes the Current Basis field and the Accumulated Depreciation field in the Fixed Asset (ASSETD) data file. If the Acquisition date is in 1998, the current basis is changed to the cost and the Accumulated depreciation is changed to the Current Depreciation (or Apportionment Amount). If the Acquisition date is not in 1998, it lets the Accumulated Depreciation be increased by the amount in current depreciation (or Apportionment Amount). This program was set to run in 1998, so if this needs to be ran at a later time, the code will need to be modified.
