Program Description
This program can be found on the Payroll File Maintenance menu (PAY-3-2). This program represents the deductions that are taken out of an employee payroll check for either a single or married person. Record Type 1 contains information regarding the exemption amount on a weekly, bi-weekly, semi-monthly, or monthly basis. Record Type 2 contains information on FICA taxes.
Rev 13 Changes
Program changes were made to correct the situation for non-SuperDos customers, in which the screen scrolls up one line when changing Record Type 1.
Also, when changing Record Type 2, the Tax Year (field 10) would not display as two digits if it was between the year 2000 and 2009. For example, year 2000 would display as 0 instead of 00, year 2001 would display as 1 instead of 01. This had no effect on the Payroll module. This display problem has been corrected.
