Fixed Asset Purge (FAFM002)

Program Description

This program can be found on the Fixed Assets File Maintenance menu (6-1-2). This new program will delete assets from the Asset file (ASSETD) that are disposed. The disposal date must be between the date range entered in order for the asset to purge. The program also has an option to print a report of what has been purged. The printed report is similar to the Depreciation Schedule (FA-2-2) in the Fixed Assets Reports menu.

The program can sort the report in two ways:

  1. The first way is by GL Account Number, Expense Account and Asset Number Order.

  2. The second way is by GL Account Number, Expense Account, Acquisition Date and Asset Number Order.
