Fixed Assets Monthly Procedures

This procedure allows you to complete monthly tasks in Fixed Assets.

1. Depreciation Schedule  (FA-2-2)

2. Verify report is correct.

3. Month-End Depreciation  (FA-2-6) This report:

• Updates the General Ledger (does journal entries to accounts specified in the asset file).

• Updates the Fixed Asset File (adds 1 month to accumulated and current depreciation).
