Program Description
This new program can be found on the System Manager Item & Itemwhd Files menu (LMSY-1-6-9). This program is a copy of the normal Obsolete Parts report found in Inventory. This program however will allow you to have D for dead stock written into the Non-Stock Indicator field for the items and warehouses printed on the report. This updates the Item (ITEM) and Item Warehouse (ITEMWHD) file.

The Mark Obsolete Items As Dead Stock program now has an option to only include items with date last transferred in or out prior to a date entered by the operator. The new prompt is: “Include Items With A Date Of Last Transfer (In Or Out) Prior To”. A date will need to be entered at this prompt. The program will find the date of last transfer by using the Inventory Transaction File (IMWACTD).
