Program Description
This program can be found on the Payroll File Maintenance menu (PAY-3-17) and the Global File Maintenance menu (BI-3-1-18-7). The Payroll global files store groups of records that control or define the operating parameters of the Payroll module. These records are generally defined at the time of installation and rarely changed after that point.
Rev 13 Changes
Field 26 was changed from Interface Payroll And General Ledger (Y/N) to Interface Payroll And General Ledger (Y'es, N'o, R'eport Only). If this field is set to R for report only, the Final Payroll Register will print the General Ledger Posting Report,which shows the General Ledger accounts and dollar amounts. However, they will not be posted to the General Ledger. The heading Report Only will display on the report to signify how the global field is set. If the global field is set to Y, the General Ledger Posting report will print and the program will automatically post the amounts to General Ledger. If the global field is set to N, the Final Payroll Register will not print the Posting report or update the General Ledger.
