Program Description
This program can be found on the Service Reports Service History Reports (SD-4-4-20). This report shows the performance of a particular machine or model of machine. The report includes an extensive number of calculations. These include Average Copy Volume Per Machine, Average Copies Between Calls, Average Total Time Per Call, Average Labor Cost Per Copy, Average Parts Cost Per Copy, Average Mileage Cost Per Copy and Total Average Cost Per Copy.
Copies can be calculated three different ways:
Inclusive method
Estimated method
Contract Meter File method.
These are used to calculate average monthly volumes. An option to update the Serial (SERIALD) data file with the inclusive or estimated average monthly volume is available.
Rev 14 Changes
When the report was printed over the end of a year (not necessarily the year 2000), and printed using contract meter readings, it didn’t print the copies produced in the correct month on the report. The copies are under the wrong month column. This correction was done while Revision 13 was being released and was added to Revision 13 at that time.
Rev 13 Changes
The Service Plan for the Machine was added to this report. This is the service plan from the Serial (SERIALD) data file.
If the user chooses to exclude non-product time from maintenance time (if a non-product time record has a time greater than the maintenance time), it will not be subtracted from the maintenance time. This will allow the maintenance time to not go negative. If all of the non-product time records added together is greater than the maintenance time, then the maintenance time will be set to 0.
Also, the labor cost calculation was changed from (maintenance minutes X (burden rate / 60)) + (travel minutes X (burden rate / 60)) to (maintenance minutes X burden rate / 60) + (travel minutes X burden rate / 60). This will allow the calculations to match up with other service reports.
Program changes were made to correct a year 2000 problem when setting up the totals array.
Internal program changes were also made to correct an Arithmetic stop at line 6491 when the number of copies created is very low.
An new option was added to exclude shop calls (SH call type) from the report. The following prompt is on the first screen: Include Any Shop 'SH' Calls (Y/N).
The operator can choose to print detail of every machine and every service call on the machine, and also all parts used on the service calls. The report is sorted by item number and serial number. The service calls that print are sorted in date and time order with the most recent call first. There is a two page total summary for each item number being printed. If the report is run for more than one item number, there is a two-page report total summary.
