Program Description
This program can be found on the Purchase Order File Maintenance menu (PO-3-8). It allows you to delete purchase orders from the system by entering a specific purchase order number or a range of purchase order numbers.

If the OEM Interface is activated, the purge will purge PO information from the OEM PO Extension file if the PO is an OEM PO. These files include the OEM PO Header Extension, OEM PO Line Item Extension and OEM PO Comment Extension. The operator will not notice any changes.

With the addition of the ability to override the item description on the purchase order, a change was made to print the overridden item description of the line items where the description was overridden. If the description was not overridden, the item description from the Item data file (ITEM) will print.
