Program Description
The Sales History Report can be found on the Billing Reports Sales Reports menu (BI-4-2-14). This report analyses item numbers, and the warehouses and product classes they came from. It also calculates the current month sales amount, current year-to-date sales amount, same month last year sales amount, and last year's year-to-date sales amount of these. These totals are then calculated to find the difference in dollar amount and difference in percentage.

A new prompt has been added to this program, which is described below:
% Change As A Calculation Of G’rowth Or L’ast Years Sales
This is for the % Change column on the report.
1. When G for growth is chosen, the calculation is as follows:
Current YTD / Last Year YTD = % Change of Growth rounded off to two decimal places.
For example, if Current YTD is 500.00 and Last Year YTD is 1151.00 then the calculation for % Change of Growth is 500.00 / 1151.00 = .434 rounded off to .43.
If Current YTD and Last YTD are both 0, then % change will be 0%.
If Last Year YTD is 0, then % change will be 100%.
If Current YTD is 0, then % change will be –100%.
2. If L for Last Years Sales is chosen, the calculation is as follows:
((Current YTD – Last Year YTD) X 100 ) / Last Year YTD = % Change of Last Years Sales rounded of at two decimal positions.
For Example, if the Current YTD is 500.00 and Last Year YTD is 1151.00, then the % Change for Growth would be (500.00 – 1151.00) X 100 / 1151.00 = -56.559 rounded up to -56.56.
If Current YTD is 0, then the % change is 0%.
If Current YTD – Last Year YTD is 0 and Last Year YTD is 0, then % change is 0%.
If Last Year YTD is 0, then % change is 100%.
