Service Daily Procedures

This procedure allows you to complete daily tasks in Service.

  1. Enter service calls received.  (SD-1-1)

  2. Dispatch technicians as they call in.  Mark the calls complete that they have finished.  (SD-1-2, SD-1-2)

  3. Enter service tickets and shop activity tickets from the previous day.  (SD-1-4)

  4. Organize the next days calls by re-assigning the calls to the technicians involved.  (SD-1-2)

  5. Print the Daily Work Load by Technician for the next day and distribute.  (SD-4-3-6)

  6. Print the Calls Holding for Parts Report and direct it to Purchasing and the Service Manager.  (SD-4-3-3)

  7. Print Parts Usage Report by Technician.  This report should be given to the individual responsible for restocking the technicians.  Use the system date when the ticket was entered.  (SD-4-3-8)
