Service Status by Code Report (SDRP424A SDRP424B)

Program Description

This new program in Rev 13 can be found on the Service Reports Service History Reports menu (SD-4-4-24). This report will break out the service calls for a date range and show the percentage of calls with each problem code, location code, reason code, and correction code. This is a very useful report to show the types of service calls that occur most often, reasons for the occurrence, locations on the machine in which the problems occur, and ways to correct the problems. Note: Because of the way it needed to be coded to print the various number of columns, this report may not display all the columns across if displayed on the screen. If there are characters missing, they would be noticeable on the right side of the screen.

Report Results:

Detail printing:

For each month in the report date range, the primary sort codes are listed on the left side of the page. The other three types of codes are listed at the right along with their code description and the percentage in which the code is of that primary sort code. After all other codes have been listed, there will be a total line for the primary sort code with the total number of service calls, the total number of calls with that code, and the percentage that is of the total. The report is sorted in Month / Primary sort code order.

Report total printing:

For each of the primary sort codes, the report displays the primary sort code, and the description. It will display all of the other codes that are attached to that primary sort code along with that code's description and it's percentage of calls with that primary sort code. After all of the other codes have been listed, there will be a total line for the primary sort code with the total number of service calls, the total number of calls with that code, and the percentage that is of the total.

Total Service Calls:

This is the number of service calls. This includes any call type. However, it does exclude all calls that are excluded from the calculations because the prior call date equals date placed in the Serial file (SERIALD), or the prior meter reading equals 0, or the service call's meter reading equals 0.

Number of # calls

This is the total number of service calls with any call type with that specific primary sort code. This is excluding all calls that have a prior call date equal to date placed in the serial file, or the prior meter reading equal 0, or the service call's meter reading equals 0. Note: there may be a variation between this total and the sum of all of the primary sort codes added together because this figure excludes "bad" service calls.

Percentage of # calls

This is calculated by taking the Number of # Calls divided by Total Service Calls.

At the very end, there are 9 report totals. These are listed below:

Total Machine Population

This is the total number of within the item range and serial range entered.

Number of Service Calls

This is the number of service calls with that specific primary sort code. This includes any call type. However, it does exclude all calls that are excluded from the calculations because the prior call date equals date placed in the serial file (SERIALD), or the prior meter reading equals 0, or the service call's meter reading equals 0. Note: there may be a variation between this total and the sum of all of the primary sort codes added together because this figure excludes "bad" service calls.

Monthly Failure Rate

This is calculated by taking the number of EM calls divided by total population divided by number of months between the beginning and ending date of the report.

Machines with activity

This is the number of machines that had a service call within the time period.

Number of EM calls

This is the number of service calls with an EM call type within date range.

Service Rate

This is calculated by taking Number of EM Calls divided by Number of Service Calls.

Machines with Parts Replaced

This is the total number of machines that had parts replaced during the time period.

Number of Part EM Calls

This is the total number of service calls with an EM call type that had parts replaced within date range.

Failure Rate of Parts

This is calculated by taking Number of machines with parts replaced divided by Total machines with activity divided by Number of Months between beginning and ending date range of the report.
