Telesales Procedures

This procedure allows you to complete tasks in Telesales.

  1. Print the Sales Contact Sheets or build the automated index.  (TM-4-7, TM-1-1)

  2. Contact the customers using either the contact sheets or the index created in Step 1.

  3. Enter the customer’s response.  (TM-1-1)

  4. Make any changes to the Prospect File.  (TM-3-1)

  5. Make any changes to previous activity.  (TM-3-2)

  6. Print any sales letters.  (TM-4-8 & 9)

  7. Print the Telemarketer Performance Report.  This report provides statistics on the number of sales contacts and the number and percentage that produced an order from the customer.  (TM-4-6)

  8. Activity Master List.  This report provides a detailed printout of the Tele-Sales activities for a specified time period and prospect population variables.  (TM-4-2)

  9. Prospects Not Contacted.  This report provides a listing of prospects that have not been contracted based on the prospect’s next contact date.  (TM-4-11)

  10. Sales History Exception Reports.  These reports provide a list of the prospects that have never purchased specified products of have purchased them in the past but not since a specified date.  A next contact date can be entered that will update the Prospect Files.  This causes the automatic contact index or the contact sheets to include this prospect.  (TM-4-12)

  11. Activity History Purge.  This program purges the Tele-Sales activity prior to an inputted date.  This procedure should be run after accumulating Tele-Sales history.  (TM-3-7)

  12. Prospect File Conversion.  This procedure can be run to create or print any new prospect(s) that should be added to the file.  This procedure can be run for report only or to create the prospect records.  It is recommended to run this procedure at least once a month.  (TM-3-10)

  13. Reassign Prospects.  This procedure reassigns the prospects to a different telemarketer.  (TM-3-5)

  14. Batch Add/Delete Generic Names.  This procedure loads the generic names into the Prospect Files.  (TM-3-6)

  15. Reassign Intervals By Class.  This procedure changes the classification codes contact interval numbers of days in the Prospect File.  (TM-3-8)
