Program Description
This program can be found on the Tele-Sales Reports menu (TS-4-6). The purpose of this report is to provide information to management and the telemarketers on the results of Tele-Sales Activity Entry. The report provides the total number of contacts, total number of non-customers, and total prospects called. It also provides the total number of contacts that generated an order. Of these orders, the total dollar amount is included. A performance ratio percent is also calculated, which is the percentage of total calls that generated an order or sale. All information is per telemarketer. A total for all telemarketers is also included.
The data for each telemarketer can be in the order of the telemarketer number, name, total number of calls, the order of highest to lowest order amounts, and the telemarketers' percentage of total calls that generated a sale, highest to lowest percent. An option is also available to calculate the number of orders and amount of the orders using the Activity File (TMACT.DT) or the Order File (OEHDRD) (OELID). When the Activity File is used, the data is the original amount of the order at the time the activity and order was entered. When the Order File is used, the data is from the actual Order File as it exists at the time the report is run. This reflects voids, adding, changing, or deleting items through Order File Maintenance. The option to use the Order File also reflects the purging of orders from the system. It is possible that the Order file option may produce inaccurate results. This can be solved by proper timing of the generation of the report.
