Program Description
This program can be found on the Billing Reports Sales Reports menu (BI-4-2-23). It allows the user to view and print customers that have the highest dollar amount of sales or gross profit within a specific time period. There is the ability to enter a specified number of customers or all customers. It can be printed in alphabetic order or highest to lowest gross profit amount. The Sales History file (SHHIST.DT) is used, which is the same file used in determining the results of Customer Sales History or Sales History by Item. All invoicing, credit memos, and voids entered on the system are stored in the Sales History file. Items entered through non-chargeable service tickets are also included. This file is updated during End of Day Processing. Invoices generated from Contract Billing are updated at the time of billing. All data remains in the system until deleted through Customer Sales History Purge.
Results
The following report results are displayed for all customers and all dates sorted by customer name. Total sales is the first total followed by gross profit:
