Update Min Max Days Based on Rank is new in Rev 15 that allows you to update the Min Days Usage and Max Days Usage in the Item and/or Item Warehouse Files. This program will ask for a range of warehouse numbers and for each of the valid rank numbers (0 – 4), it will ask for a new min days and a new max days value. Rank number is stored in the LIFO Quantity field in the Item file by some of the Inventory Control Reports. If an item does not have a Rank number (LIFO Quantity) equal to 0 through 4, the program will no change the item’s min or max days fields. As in Item File Maintenance and Item Warehouse File Maintenance, the Min and Max Days can only be a number from 0 to 366. If you do not use the Inventory Control reports to ensure that your Rank numbers are set correctly, do not run this report. Everyone should be off the system while this program is run.
